Bring it Rexburg

So let me tell you. I'm awful at packing. Really really awful. So thank heavens for mom-the packing genie. I'm leaving for school tomorrow and I'm seriously scared as all get out, and excited at the same time. It helps that one of my best-friends will be my next door neighbor! :) But I always get a little sad when i have to leave one place, even If I'm ready to move on. I'll miss my family, my own bed, Seeing my cute baby dog everyday.
So here goes, on the plane tomorrow morning! Guess having a red robin date with the girls of the family and nightly watching of the Harry Potter series is a pretty good way to kick off the trip!

Wonderful World

So I've decided everyonce in a while to list some things im grateful for. not everything, just some random things here and there that I probably take for granted. I decided to pick day because i felt pretty crappy about a lot of things and I tend to slip into pessimism, but hey, I'm workin on it.

Things I love Today:
- Heat indoors
-When things go off without a hitch
-Lazy days
-My little black car
-Preparing for college (bittersweet)
-Getting letters from friends on missions!
-My doggie Chico
-Christmas break!
So those are just some random things for today! I'll be working on how to make this better. Oh and heres a niffty quote for y'all- "He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has." - Epictetus

So we're not all singing carol of the bells anymore?

So as all my friends head home to Plano,Texas for Christmas, I'm stuck in the frozen tundra of the north. Oops, I mean Wisconsin. So they got together at charlies house for their Christmas party and surprised me with a skype visit!

And that my friends, is what cool kids look like. They even sang me some christmas songs( although they all sang different ones) but I do miss the singing. Sorry about the last 2 posts being about choir. Guess I must miss these people a lot! I'm grateful for such wonderful people in my life!
P.S. Did i mention i really do miss the fact that this is the first time out of about the past 6 years I WONT be singing carol of the bells with a choir? I thought I'd shoot myself every time we sang it because we just sang it so darn much, and now, I really miss that song. Ah retrospect.
